CASTING CALL FOR THE ROLE OF SILLY BILLY AT THE STIWT THEATRE, WREXHAM.

 

Calling all up and coming male actors in North West & North Wales! You could star in the most magical panto in North Wales!

 

Producers LHK Productions Ltd, are now seeking a male talented male actor to play the character of Silly Billy in their glittering production of Jack & the Beanstalk at the Stiwt Theatre, Wrexham this Christmas.

 

Lee Kelly, managing director of LHK Productions will be holding an open audition to find a talented local actor who can sing, dance and act.

 

For the part of Silly Billy, they are looking for a cheeky chappy, aged 16-25, with a great personality and perfect comic timing, who can sing.

LHK YOUTH THEATRE LOOKING FOR STARS OF ‘TOMORROW’ TO PERFORM IN ANNIE THE MUSICAL

 

Calling all Merseyside youngsters! It doesn’t have to be ‘The Hard Knock Life’ because if you love to perform and were born for the stage, then this is the perfect opportunity for you!

 

LHK Youth Theatre is offering young performers (Guys & Girls) aged 6 to 18, the opportunity to audition for its 2017 autumn production Annie The Musical.

 

If you think you have what it takes to be Merseyside’s next big star, open auditions will take place on Sunday 19th March from 10.30am at The Epstein Theatre.

 

Producers are looking for all round performers who can act, sing and dance and who stand out from the crowd to attend the open auditions. The production will be staged November 2017.

 

Audition hopefuls are advised that they do not need to prepare a performance piece for the day as the production team will be on hand to choreograph and direct auditions.

LHK YOUTH THEATRE NEEDS YOU FOR ITS LATEST MUSICAL!

 

 

LHK Youth Theatre promised it would Be Back Soon with another amazing musical and true to its word, the company will be proudly presenting Oliver! at The Epstein Theatre in November 2016.

So if you can sing, dance, act and feel I’d Do Anything to star in a musical then don’t miss the auditions for this fabulous show on Sunday, 6th March at 12noon.

 

The auditions will be held at The Epstein Theatre on Hanover Street where the team at LHK Youth Theatre will be on the lookout for young talented performers aged between 7 and 18.

Open to both boys and girls, the youngsters must be able to sing, dance and act. The producers are particularly looking for strong vocalists to cast some of the singing roles in Oliver.

 

Hopefuls do not need to prepare an audition piece as the production team will put them through their paces, but don’t worry – it won’t be too ‘gruelling’. It’s A Fine Life at LHK Productions, which prides itself on nurturing talented performers in the region and giving them the foundations for a fabulous career in performing arts.

As well as getting the chance to star in a great show, performance will gain invaluable stage experience working with LHK Youth Theatre, one of the the region’s leading youth arts organisations.

Following the auditions, Lee will be Reviewing the Situation and choosing only the very best for his forthcoming production of Oliver! which promises to be his most exciting musical yet.

 

 

Oliver! boasts stunning scenery, dazzling dance routines and marvellous musical numbers, featuring all the famous songs including Food Glorious Food, Where is Love? Pick a Pocket or Two, Who Will Buy? And one thing’s for sure, the show will have plenty of Oom-Pah-Pah!

 

The musical tells the story of the orphan Oliver Twist, who starts his life in a workhouse and is then sold into an apprenticeship with an undertaker. He escapes from there and travels to London where he meets the Artful Dodger, and becomes a member of a gang of juvenile pickpockets, which is led by the elderly criminal Fagin.

 

The auditions are open to all levels from beginners to advanced - so whether you are an experience performer, or just fancy having a go, then come along to the auditions which will be held at The Epstein Theatre on Sunday, 6th March at 12noon.

Then make sure you come down to the auditions of FAME at The Epstein Theatre on Sunday, 1st November.

 

LHK Youth Theatre will be staging the smash hit musical 'FAME' at the Epstein Theatre in July 2016 and is currently on the look out for the region’s hottest new talent.

 

Producer Lee Kelly is looking to put together a cast of 30 for the musical which is based on the 1980 hit musical film Fame which starred Irene Cara and featured the famous title song.

 

The film told the story of students at New York City's High School of Performing Arts and was followed by a six-season television series and the musical. It starred the fame-obsessed Carmen, ambitious actress Serena, wisecracking comedian/bad boy Joe, quiet violinist Schlomo, talented but dyslexic dancer Tyrone, determined actor Nick, overweight dancer Mabel, and poor dancer Iris.

 

However, Producer Lee is looking for strong dancers for his production of FAME, who can also sing and act and are good all round performers.

 

The auditions are open to performers aged 8-19 and will be held at 12pm with registration at 11.30am so make sure you get there in plenty of time.

 

They don’t need to worry about preparing an audition piece as Lee’s team of experienced professionals will give you a choreographed routine or song to sing.

Lee continued to work professionally up and down the country after gaining a full scholarship to train at Laine Theatre Arts in London and continued to work up and down the country in various trade shows, corporate events and pantomimes and even The Royal Variety Performance at the Dominion Theatre London.

 

Having celebrated its 10th birthday this year with a lavish party, LHK Productions is still as committed to delivering both fun and traditional shows to the theatre, complete with a fresh and modern twist, as it was back in 2005. It’s this ethos that has turned LHK into a global brand, with huge deals with companies in both Lebanon and Dubai.

Calling all up and coming male actors in Merseyside!  You could star in the most enchanting panto in the land!

 

Producers LHK Productions Ltd, are now seeking two talented male actors to play the characters of Buttons and Dandini in their glittering production of Cinderella at the Epstein Theatre this Christmas.

 

Lee Kelly, managing director of LHK Productions will be holding an open audition to find two talented local men who can sing, dance and act and are holding auditions on Monday, 21st September.

 

For the part of Buttons, they are looking for a cheeky chappy, aged 16-25, with a great personality and perfect comic timing, who can sing. The character of Buttons is a bit down at heel but is always there to cheer poor Cinders up.

 

Meanwhile, Dandini is Prince Charming’s right hand man, We are looking for a strong actor, age 18-30, of any height, who much have a strong vocal.

Returning to the Epstein Theatre for their fourth festive season, Cinderella tells the much-loved story of a pretty young girl kept captive by her wicked ugly step-sisters. When Cinders is invited to a magnificent ball at the palace, her two fiendish siblings forbid her to attend.

 

With a wave of a magic wand, her very own fairy godmother appears to save the day and she is transformed into a beautiful princess. After a magical evening dancing endlessly with Prince Charming, midnight approaches and poor Cinders has to depart before the spell is broken.

 

With a single glass slipper left behind, will Prince Charming be able to find his princess? Will Cinders escape the clutches of her ugly step-sisters and live happily ever after?

 

Those talented enough to impress the producers will take to the stage alongside Calum Best, the son of football legend George Best, as Prince Charming, and like his famous father, the heart-throb certainly has buckets of charm and is bound to woo the audience, as well as the hand of Cinderella…

 

The all star production also features Beryl Marsden, one of the greatest vocalists of the Merseybeat era, who will make her panto debut as the Fairy Godmother.

All dancers looking for an opportunity to appear on the Epstein Theatre stage should get their dancing shoes on and audition for  LHK Productions’ next panto sensation - the enchanting tale of  Beauty and the Beast, which comes to  The Epstein Theatre this Easter in  April 2015.

Registration is at 12:30pm for SENIOR DANCERS AGE 15+. Those attending should have a strong jazz technique.

Beauty and the Beast is a timeless tale and one of the nation’s favourite pantomimes, telling the tale of a handsome Prince, who has no love in his heart. After an encounter with an Enchantress, he is transformed into a terrifying Beast and the only way the wicked curse can be broken is if the Beast can find true love before the last petal from the magical rose falls. Complete with song and dance by the star-studded cast featuring 5ive and Big Reunion star Ritchie Neville.
